What is GROUP PERSONAL TRAINING?
The fitness training scene in Singapore is evolving, the way people like to be trained has been changing over times, from functional training to Crossfit and high interval intensity training (HIIT), folks like to train in groups. Because training in groups forms a socialising opportunity, lower cost per session, and more importantly creates inspirational competitiveness. That is why we believe and understand the need for strength training and bodyweight bearing exercises for those who require personal training in small groups at a very low cost compared to one-to-one PT while still achieving ones fitness goals.
Do one need to lose a lot of weight to be fit?
While most would consider high fat level to be unfit, we beg to defer. We know that one can be fat while still be fit. People always assume that one carrying excess weight dont exercise and must be unhealthy, but that is not true, in reality you can be fat and fit. In fact, as we progress in age, low levels of fitness can be more harmful and detrimental to health than higher fat level !
So time to get on board and benefit the opportunity of using fitness to help you improve your health.
How do I benefit from this low cost personal training?
For a flat fee, you get to enjoy multiple training monthly.
Days: Mondays to Fridays
Class A (Mornings) : 8.30am to 11.30am
Class B (Afternoons): 2.00pm to 5.00pm
Class C (Evenings except Fridays): 6.30pm to 9,30pm
Class D : 9.30 to 12noon
You can come train any of the days at any of the classes, even twice a day though we do not encourage overtraining as it will restrict growth of lean muscles which then hampers improvement.
When you attend say the Class A session, you can come in at anytime within the training hour as long as it at least one to one half hour long, eg 9am to 10.30am, or 10am to 11.15am etc depending how hard you train and your rest time within your training session.
How much does it cost?
No gym membership fee
You pay $350/per month if you do a one month subscription.
You pay a lesser $300/month for 3 months, which is a one time payment $900.
What are the benefits?
1) Preserves muscle mass
Muscle mass diminishes with age. You can counteract this loss through strength training. The percentage of fat on your body increases as you get older if you don’t do anything to replace the lean muscle you lose. Strength training helps preserve and enhance your muscle mass, regardless of your age.
2) Weight Loss
A regular strength training program helps you increase lean body mass and burn calories more efficiently, which can result in healthy weight loss.
3) Reduces risk of osteoporosis
Because of hormonal changes that women experience as they get older, they naturally lose bone density, putting them at increased risk for developing osteoporosis. Routinely lifting weights slows bone deterioration and can help your bones grow stronger, help you maintain strength, and reduce your chance of developing — or slow the effects of — osteoporosis.
What kind of training will I be participating?
Body Weight Exercises
Using your own body weight for resistance training is an excellent way to increase muscular strength. Push-ups, pull-ups, star jumps, burpess and abdominal crunches are among the simplest exercises that use body weight as a form of exercise.
The following are standard types of free weights that we will use:
